Your Refairn agent profile is the first thing a business owner sees when you apply to their partner program. Before they approve you as a referral agent — or grant you the support-eligible tier — they review your background, listed skills, and relevant experience. A sparse profile leads to rejection or delays. A complete, well-crafted profile signals that you are a professional worth investing in, and it attracts inbound invitations from businesses seeking agents with your exact expertise.

Set Up Your Profile

1

Create Your Account

Go to refairn.com/signup and register as an agent. Use a professional email address you check regularly — this is where program invitations, approval notifications, and commission alerts will be delivered.Once you verify your email, you land on your agent dashboard. The profile completion indicator at the top shows which sections still need attention. Aim for 100% completion before applying to any program.
2

Write Your Bio and Professional Background

Navigate to Profile → About and fill in two fields:
  • Short bio — A 2–4 sentence summary of who you are and what you do professionally. Write in third person so businesses can quote it directly on their program pages. Example: “Maria is a certified bookkeeping consultant with eight years of experience helping small businesses adopt cloud accounting software across Latin America.”
  • Professional experience — Add each relevant role, company, and date range. This works like a lightweight CV entry. Focus on client-facing, sales, consulting, or technical roles. Include any work where you advised customers on software purchasing decisions.
3

Add Skill Areas and Product Categories

Under Profile → Expertise, select your skill areas and the product categories you want to represent.Skill areas include fields such as customer success, B2B sales, technical support, digital marketing, accounting, legal operations, HR software, and more. Product categories map to the types of SaaS tools you are qualified to promote — for example, payroll software, CRM platforms, project management tools, or cybersecurity products.
List every software product you have hands-on experience with — even tools you used internally rather than sold. Business owners filter the agent pool by product familiarity. Mentioning that you managed a team on a competing platform can make you a more appealing candidate for a rival product’s partner program.
Selecting accurate categories also determines which inbound program invitations Refairn surfaces for you.
4

Set Your Languages

Under Profile → Languages, add every language you can use professionally. Specify your proficiency level for each (conversational, professional, or native/bilingual).Many SaaS companies run multilingual support programs and actively seek agents who can serve customers in specific regions. Listing your languages accurately opens programs that would otherwise not appear in your search results.
5

Add Your Phone Number and Availability

Under Profile → Contact, add your phone number and set your availability. Your availability tells businesses when you are reachable for support work — for example, which days of the week and what time zone you operate in.Businesses running support programs use availability information when deciding which agents to assign customers to. If your availability is not set, you may be overlooked for time-sensitive support assignments.
6

Set Your Preferred Payout Method

Under Profile → Payouts, select how you want to receive commission payments. The payout methods available depend on your country. You must set a valid payout method before any commission can be released to you — even if the commission is already in Payable status. Set this up early so there is no delay when your first payout is ready. Also set your country of residence, as this affects tax documentation requirements for some businesses.
7

Add Social and Portfolio Links

Under Profile → Links, add relevant professional URLs:
  • LinkedIn profile
  • Personal or business website
  • YouTube channel or podcast (if you create content)
  • Portfolio or case study links
  • Any professional certification pages
These links give business owners independent evidence of your reach and credibility. An agent with an active LinkedIn following or a YouTube channel covering relevant software topics is a significantly stronger candidate than one with no visible online presence.
8

Upload a Professional Photo

Under Profile → Photo, upload a clear, professional headshot. This image appears on your public agent profile and, for businesses that display agent profiles to customers, on the support-facing side of their product.Use a photo with good lighting, a neutral background, and a clear view of your face. Avoid group photos, logos, or avatars.
9

Add Your Current Software Partnerships and Certifications

Under Profile → Partnerships, list any existing reseller agreements, referral partnerships, or affiliate relationships you hold with other software companies. Businesses may use this to check for conflicts of interest before approving you.Under Profile → Certifications, add any vendor certifications, industry credentials, or platform qualifications you hold outside of Refairn (for example, a QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification or a HubSpot Sales certification). These display directly on your profile and strengthen your applications for relevant programs.

How Badges Appear Over Time

Your profile does not stay static after you complete the initial setup. As you work across partner programs on Refairn, the platform adds verified badges that compound your reputation.

Verified Agent

Awarded after identity and professional information are confirmed on the platform.

Certified Support Partner

Awarded when you pass a business’s certification and are approved for support work.

Top Referrer

Awarded based on referral volume and verified customer conversion rate.

High Retention Partner

Awarded when your referred customers maintain active subscriptions at above-average rates.

Fast Responder

Awarded when your support ticket first-response time consistently meets or beats SLA targets.

Finance Software Specialist

A category-specific badge awarded in recognition of expertise and performance in a given product domain.
Badges are visible to every business that views your profile, whether you applied to them or they are considering sending you an invitation. The stronger your badge set, the more likely you are to receive inbound program invitations without having to apply. Businesses can also leave ratings across five dimensions — responsiveness, product knowledge, professionalism, customer satisfaction, and policy compliance — and these ratings aggregate publicly on your profile. Customers assigned to you for support can rate their experience as well. Both ratings influence the programs you are considered for and how prominently Refairn surfaces your profile.
