Refairn is built around a single, repeatable loop: you recruit vetted agents, train them on your product, track every referral and support interaction, and reward only verified outcomes. Every handoff inside that loop is scoped to your business workspace, backed by an immutable audit log, and tied to the actual source of customer value — so you always know who earned what and why.

The four-step loop

1

Recruit

You start by creating a partner program for a specific product and inviting agents to join it. Agents apply through your enrollment link or a direct invitation you send from the dashboard. You review each application, check their profile, and approve or decline — no agent enters your program without your explicit sign-off.Once approved, the agent appears in your workspace and gains access to only the resources, leads, and program rules you have published for that product. They cannot see data from other businesses on the platform, and other businesses cannot see your agents.Outcome: A curated roster of approved agents who have agreed to your program terms and are ready to be trained.
You can set enrollment to manual approval (default) or open enrollment. Manual approval is recommended while you are establishing quality benchmarks for your agent cohort.
2

Train

Before an agent can promote your product or assist customers, you publish training materials inside the program workspace. This includes product overviews, approved marketing claims, objection-handling guides, certification modules, and any brand or compliance rules agents must follow.Agents work through your materials at their own pace and complete certifications you define. Certification is a gate: agents who pass unlock additional capabilities — such as support access — that uncertified agents cannot use. This means your customers only ever interact with agents who have demonstrated the knowledge you require.Outcome: A trained, certified cohort whose knowledge baseline you control, with a clear record of who passed what and when.
Only approved content surfaces to agents. You draft and publish resources inside the program; nothing goes live until you confirm it. This prevents agents from promoting outdated pricing, unsupported claims, or retired features.
3

Track

When an agent shares their unique referral link with a prospect, Refairn begins attributing the journey. The default attribution window is 90 days: if the prospect converts to a paying customer within that window, the referral is credited to the agent. Every click, conversion, and payment event is written to the audit trail.Support work is tracked separately. If a certified agent handles a customer support ticket, the interaction is logged under support activity — not referral activity. Response times, resolution quality, and SLA adherence feed into the agent’s reputation score and determine support commission eligibility.Outcome: A full, workspace-scoped view of every referral, customer payment, and support interaction — each one timestamped and linked to the agent responsible.
Every approval, status change, payout confirmation, and risk event is written to an immutable activity record. You can export the audit trail at any time for compliance, dispute resolution, or internal reporting.
4

Reward

Commissions are released only after real customer value is verified. By default, a 14-day hold period applies to each commission — this gives you time to confirm that a payment is legitimate and not subject to a refund or dispute before the funds become payable.Referral commissions and support commissions are always calculated and stored separately. The default commission template gives agents a 20% one-time referral commission, 10% recurring commission for 12 months, and an additional 5% support commission for approved support work. You can adjust all of these values per program.Once the hold period clears and you confirm payout readiness, commissions move to payable status and are disbursed. Automated disbursement via Paystack and Stripe is planned for a future release; during the current beta, payouts are confirmed manually.Outcome: Verified, auditable commission payouts that reflect the actual source of each agent’s contribution — with no ambiguity between referral earnings and support earnings.
Removing an agent’s support access never cancels their earned referral commissions. Referral and support rewards are held on separate ledger lines. If you revoke support privileges, the agent retains any referral commissions they legitimately earned — the ledger always reflects the true source of value.

What Refairn will not do

Refairn is not an affiliate toy and it is not a multi-level marketing system. The rules are simple and non-negotiable:
  • No recruitment commissions. Agents are never paid for recruiting other agents. There are no downlines, no tiers, and no chain-based payouts.
  • No unverified rewards. Commissions are released only after a real customer payment is confirmed. Clicks, sign-ups, and trials alone do not trigger payouts.
  • No cross-workspace data leakage. An agent who joins three business programs sees three completely separate workspaces — leads, customers, commissions, and resources never bleed across program boundaries.
These constraints are intentional. They keep Refairn useful for SaaS companies that need a trustworthy, auditable growth channel — and safe for customers who interact with agents through it.
